Update on the arts in the New Forest during Coronavirus outbreak

During the current concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we want to keep you as up to date as possible on our Folio New Forest members. Below you'll find details on what each venue is currently doing in response to the outbreak.


If you have tickets to upcoming events, shows, workshops or exhibitions, please contact the venues directly. Please also consider donating the cost of your ticket rather than requesting a refund. Our members are charities that will be hit hard during this difficult time. Please support them where you can.


Coda Music Trust – suspending group sessions from 23 March. Individual / 1:1

lessons currently continuing to be offered.


Forest Arts - closed to the public from the 18 March until the 12 April.


Forest Forge Theatre - closed to the public, shows postponed until further notice. Some outreach programmes still running.


Hanger Farm Arts Centre - Please check their website for updated information.


hArt – have closed their offices until 06/04. They will continue to offer services online and provide free art materials to be used at home.


New Forest Heritage Centre – the centre is now closed until the 12 April at the earliest. Any paid ticketed events have been cancelled. The back-office function currently remains unaffected.


Spudworks – continuing to operate as normal for the time being, but will shut in forthcoming days/week if needed.


St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery – currently open until 23/3 then shutting TBC, dependent on Government advice. All public events and activities have been cancelled, and all exhibitions and being rescheduled.
