It's an exciting time for us all here at the New Forest Heritage Centre. We've changed our name and branding and we're intending to embark on a substantial redevelopment of the Centre.
We would like to appeal to our visitors and people in the New Forest for anything they may wish to gift or loan to the Charity. Perhaps you have an important historical artefact or something that you would like displayed in the Museum? Old photos, maps, tools, toys or something strange from the attic that you are not sure about? Perhaps it tells a story or invokes a memory of times gone by in the New Forest. Leave something for future generations to learn about our special New Forest.
Giles Gould, Centre Manager says “It’s vital that as we go through the re-development of the New Forest Heritage Centre, we continue to consult with our visitors and those around us to see what they want from the Centre and appeal to them if they have any items of historical importance they would like displayed in the Museum”
Anyone interested in gifting an interesting artefact or story to the Museum should contact Giles at the Centre - giles.gould@newforestheritage.org.uk.
