Launching our new development board

The New Forest Cultural Development Board is dedicated to providing strong and visible leadership for the cultural and creative industries within our district. Our primary objective is to create and implement a comprehensive 10-year cultural strategy. We believe in fostering collaboration and establishing new connections, working across sectors to form valuable partnerships. Our aim is to ensure that the cultural sector is intertwined with the broader cultural, social, and economic goals and priorities of our district. We strive to optimize existing spaces and resources by facilitating the connection of ongoing projects and strategies. Moreover, we will continuously explore fresh investment opportunities, whilst remaining committed to achieving the objectives outlined in our creative strategy. Through a well-defined action plan, we are determined to deliver tangible outcomes that will positively impact our community.
