Folio would like to extend a massive welcome to Fluid Motion Theatre Company as they bring their experience and expertise in supporting mental health through creativity to Totton and the rest of the New Forest.
Executive Director Ali Gill and Artistic Director Leigh Johnstone began the company after meeting at the University of Winchester, and are now seeing it into its 14th year. Originally based in Basingstoke, Fluid Motion worked to develop and maintain partnerships across the Borough and the County, and brought people into the town for their pioneering All in the Mind Festival, which paired mental health with performing arts and community engagement for seven years.
Now, Leigh and Ali enter a new era as they set up shop (so to speak) in Totton where they will soon be opening a Creative Hub in the precinct, inviting all members of the community to consider how creativity can support their mental health.
