On the 29 November from 4-6 pm get ready for Christmas by making your own beautiful Christmas decorations at St Barbe Museum, as part of Lymington late night shopping.
As part of Lyndhurst’s ever successful Christmas Fun Day on the 7 December, visit the New Forest Heritage Centre for some Christmas fun. Find crafts and activities for all ages! The museum is free entry but donations are welcomed, suggested £1 per activity.
Experience the Christmas story at Furzey Gardens this year with a traditional visit to Father Christmas in his grotto. Ticket price includes one accompanying adult, garden entry and a gift from Father Christmas for every paying child. Saturday 7, Sunday 8, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December, between 10 am and 4 pm.
On Saturday the 14 December from 12-6 pm, spudWORKS are running their very own craft market both inside the main building and outside in the spudWORKS gardens. ​The market will feature lots of handmade crafts for sale, craft workshops, 'Try It Yourself' activities, food and drinks and of course plenty more to see and do at spudWORKS! Free to enter!
Coda Music Trust hosts their Christmas Concert on the 15 December at New Milton Memorial Centre, a fabulous, free, festive event and an opportunity for all of our choirs, groups and ensembles to meet, perform and enjoy an evening of entertaining music.
Christmas Shows
The festive fun is touring with Forest Forge Theatre and Bumblefly Theatre's co-production of Little Red Riding Hood! The annual touring Christmas show brings a traditional dollop of storytelling with madcap humour and family fun to venues across the New Forest and beyond!
Looking for the perfect festive night out with friends? Head to Forest Forge Theatre for an evening with Ricky Tart and Friends on the 14th December, 8 pm. A special evening of music, poetry, and laughter!
The Christmas spirit is waiting for you at Hanger Farm this year with a new interactive family show, Santa’s Christmas Countdown! See it on the 1 December at 2 pm, suitable for 2-7 year olds. On the 22 December take some time out from your busy Christmas schedule to enjoy Malcolm the Magician’s Family Magic Show.
There's a whole host of Christmas shows coming to Forest Arts Centre this December so you'll easily find a show to suit every taste! The Christmassy Christmas Show of Christmassy Christmasness is on the 7 December. FARA Christmas tour gig is on the 11 December. Forest Forge Theatre's Little Red Riding Hood visits on the 12 December. Saturday morning cinema: Snow Buddies (U) is on the 14 December. And lastly, Saturday morning cinema: The Grinch - 2018 (U) is on the 21 December.
